 How to Create a LINE Bot Channel

Step 1: Log in to LINE Developers Console with Your Account

a. Click on the website link on the right side: https://developers.line.biz/en/

b. Once you reach the main page, click on 'Console' at the top right corner of the page, and choose to log in with your LINE account.

c. After logging in, select 'Services' on the left side and then click on 'Create a new channel'.

d. Choose 'Messaging API'.

Step 2: Setting Up Your New LINE Bot

You will need to configure the following options:

Channel type: Messaging API

Provider: Services

Company or owner's country or region: Choose your country.

Channel icon: You can upload the image you want to display; this image will appear on this channel.

Channel name: Enter the name of your LINE bot channel, such as 'iPhone sales'.

Channel description: Enter a description for your LINE bot channel.

Category: Choose any category.

Subcategory: Choose any subcategory.

Email address: Enter your email address.

Finally, check the two boxes to agree to the terms and conditions, then click 'Create' to establish a new LINE bot channel."

Step 3: Set Up Robot Parameters

After creating your Linebot, the next step is to configure various settings to interface with the GPT application.

a. Click on the Linebot you just created.

b. Once you enter the Linebot settings page, you will see various options at the top as follows:

c. First, click on the "Basic" page, then copy the "Channel secret" to your notebook for safekeeping, as we will use it later.

d. Then switch to the "Messaging API" page to configure the following settings:

Allow bot to join group chats: Enabled

Auto-reply messages: Disabled

Greeting messages: Disabled

Next, click "Issue" under the "Channel access token" section to generate an access token.

After generating it, copy the Channel access token to your notebook for safekeeping, as we will use it later.

With that, you have completed the creation of your Linebot and all its settings, and obtained both the "access token" and "Channel secret" information. These two pieces of information will be used when creating the GPT Linebot.
